Bought this for my 12 year old daughter. It is very small and likely to get lost. It is a real knife and the construction is solid.

It's sad to see another proud American knife manufacturer fold to the siren call of off-shoring production, but Buck has now followed in the footsteps of Schrade, Smith & Wesson, and Old Timer. The fit and finish is okay, but it's not up to par with what a Buck was ten years ago.Gaps between bolsters and scales, machining marks, would never have been found on a US Buck. This is a nice enough little knife, however, and, at under $7.00, it's cheap enough to not have to lose sleep about it getting lost. I guess Case is pretty much the last of the great American knife companies left standing.

A nice small knife for walking around. Yea, they are made in China which I hate, but they are good quality as buck made sure of that. For the price it's a can't miss small pocket knife.
