“Not bad...for a Chinese knife”

By Steve from Hamburg NY on 12/26/2009
Pros:
Compact, Sharp Blade
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
“It's sad to see another proud American knife manufacturer fold to the siren call of off-shoring production, but Buck has now followed in the footsteps of Schrade, Smith & Wesson, and Old Timer. The fit and finish is okay, but it's not up to par with what a Buck was ten years ago.Gaps between bolsters and scales, machining marks, would never have been found on a US Buck. This is a nice enough little knife, however, and, at under $7.00, it's cheap enough to not have to lose sleep about it getting lost. I guess Case is pretty much the last of the great American knife companies left standing.”
