Closeouts. A charming silhouette with a curved empire waist and elbow sleeves, this babydoll shirt from Buffalo is made from a filmy fabric with a vintage pattern created by the popular burnout technique.

I really wanted to like this top. The turquoise color looked great on me, and the fit was flattering to my figure. (I'm slim and small chested.) But I found the sleeves to be too snug near my elbows - to the point that they felt restrictive. The stitching just under the bust is in a strange place. It sort of worked with my figure, but I believe that most women would not care for it. I agree with the other reviews that due to the sheer nature of the fabric, this top needs to be worn with a camisole or other opaque undergarment.

I really wanted to like this shirt, since I loved the color (aqua greenish) but the fit was very tight across the bust (I could have gone up a size), too loose underneath (which makes me look preggo) and, while I could have tried a larger size, I decided not to because the material was very surprisingly thin and see-through, but it wasn't a garment I'd want to wear a cami under. So had to send it back.
