5.0 out of 5 stars. so far these are great

Only worn these once but they fit well, stayed dry, warm enough and look great.

They say high breathability pants will need a base layer and i think that is true here, i just ordered a nice mid weight pair.

Im about 5' 10" 155 and i ordered a small. They arent too tight, still have range of motion and dont look like an emo skinny jean kid.

2nd day of use the stitching along one of the rear pockets gave out. Left with 8" long tear just above the left rear pocket.
Trying a second pair only because Derailed made the exchange easy, and you can't beat the price for gore-tex.
My son is 5'10", 145 lbs.. The medium fit great, with a little extra room in the waist.

Haven't had a chance to field test these pants yet, but the fit out of the box is spot on. Loose enough to be comfortable all day. Can't wait to hit the mountain.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Look classy while you withstand the next ice age

These pants are so sick. Anything high end from Burton is gonna be really nice and these don't dissappoint. First thing I notice was the tough material and subtle texture design (putty), and perfect cut and fit that has these pants dripping with style. So the shell is a bit thicker and stiffer than I thought and they're a bit more insulated than I thought so they will be my designated cold weather/powder pants, but I'll be in pure luxury when then next whiteout storm hits. Perfect style, perfect cut, bombproof construction. And the prices through STP are always off the hook. These pants are a go, 100%.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Murdoc Pants - Good ski pants, tight fit
Reviewed by FreedomPermit from Utah on Sunday, March 23, 2014
These pants are great. Look good. Feel good. But tight. Tight on my thighs. On my hips. And it's like there's not enough material from the waistline down to the crotch so I'm always tugging them up but there's no extra material to pull up. So they feel like they're too low on my hips. I'm not into that style of showing your underwear by having low-slung pants, so this is slightly annoying.
Other than that, they're really nicely made. Lot's of pockets. The cuff is wide enough to accommodate my ski boots without having to unzip the cuff zipper. And the colors are nice - grey/black.

About Burton

One name will always remain synonymous with the snowboarding movement, and that name is Burton. Back in 1978, the sport of snowboarding was virtually unknown and completely on the fringe, but Jake Burton quit his day job to make snowboards in his living room anyway. By the 1980s, Burton snowboards were helping people discover a totally new and exhilarating way to carve the snow. More than thirty years later, Burton snowboards and bindings are still leading the industry with cutting-edge technologies and killer-looking designs, as are Burton boots. On the slopes, Burton jackets and pants are made to help you beat the elements and look great doing it. Long live winter.
