Burton AK 2L Turbine Snowboard Jacket - Waterproof Gore-Tex®, PrimaLoft® (For Men)

Jacket differs from photo ! Instead of two zip chest pockets there is one zip & one Velcro flap type pocket. The photo shown is actually the later model. This is an obvious mistake that Sierra has yet to correct. The Olive color seems darker than pictured. The fit is boxy & large even for Burton. The Med. was too big for me & I usually wear a Med.-Lg. The combination of materials is a plus , but I returned it.Might work for you if like the not shown flap pocket & can get the fit right.

This jacket has a lot of nice little details, like zippered armpit vents, earphone passthru, and ultra soft hand pockets. In terms of warmth, this jacket rivals my ultra down 800 fill Haglofs coat, which is the ultimate in warmth. The product is not the same as pictured, though very close. Instead of two zippered pockets on the front, there is only one, and a velcro pocket takes the place of the other missing zipper. I was surprised to learn that I was the only one to mention this to SNTP. And one thing. I found this jacket to be waaay too big for me. I normally wear a Medium, but I had to re-order to get a small. The small fits perfectly, and I'm 5'10, 146 lbs. I've yet to test this jacket in bad weather, but with gore-tex layering, I'm sure it will excel in any condition.

I ride in many place the world from Canada to Austria to France to USA, therefore if its out there I've been in it. And this AK is the bomb!!
