    I bought the jacket to walk my dog, long walks, in cold wet weather. Five days after the jacket arrived, we had an unusual weather event in the Washington DC area in October: 5 days of 40 degree highs and endless rain and wind. The jacket performed flawlessly, keeping me warm, dry, and very happy.
