Ordered this coat as a gift for my youngest son, this being his first down coat. This is impressive, to say the least. The exterior is waterproof but breathable, and there are ventilation zippers located under the armpits and on the lower rear of the coat. Along with two zippered outer hand warmer pockets, there is a zippered pocket ( napoleon pocket ) on the upper left interior, itself with 2 velcro separators ( sub pockets ) located therein. A snow skirt on the lower interior and a neck gaiter on the inner collar completes the ensemble. The 550 down insulation is excellent, not too little but good for a wider variety of temperatures. I almost forgot the wrist gaiters that help seal out cold drafts and wind, another detail that indicates quality sans the exorbitant price. The fit seems to be true to size, if not just a bit generous, as this youngster wearing this coat is 6'3' and about 180 lbs. and takes a true size large long. in all, this would be a really nice coat for twice the cost, but for the STP selling price, this is nothing less than superb. This coat is being adjudged five ( 5 ) stars, only because there are no higher number of stars available. Buy it while it is available, you will not be disappointed.
