These seem to be ideal for our 13 year old son. The fit is great, and he likes the style.

We are in snow pants everyday for about 4 -5 months, and we ski / snowboard once a week. I know that these would hold up to my ten year old. They well made. Though...runs SHORT and WIDE in the waist. A bought a medium for next year for my son who will be 11. They will be too short for next season and the next size up I am afraid will be too big in the waist. The pants fit him now but are still large in the waist. There is a nice adjustable velco inside the pants.

About Burton

One name will always remain synonymous with the snowboarding movement, and that name is Burton. Back in 1978, the sport of snowboarding was virtually unknown and completely on the fringe, but Jake Burton quit his day job to make snowboards in his living room anyway. By the 1980s, Burton snowboards were helping people discover a totally new and exhilarating way to carve the snow. More than thirty years later, Burton snowboards and bindings are still leading the industry with cutting-edge technologies and killer-looking designs, as are Burton boots. On the slopes, Burton jackets and pants are made to help you beat the elements and look great doing it. Long live winter.
