This is a good pack. I guess my only complaint is that it is a bit small but for 12L what do you expect for a day pack. I am able to fit my 16.4" laptop in there with two 1.5" three ring binder so it works for each class then I just transfer my next class in there. Great diversity with compartments.

This pack is well made and ideal for a day pack. This pack is too small to be used as a book bag.

My seven-year-old uses this for school. It fits him on the smallest adjustment, and it just large enough for homework folder and lunch box. I prefer to buy a small adult pack for him because I feel they are better made than most kids' packs. (My three-year-old had inherited the old pack.) I love the bright-orange interior of this pack--it is so easy to see inside to find the little things that migrate to the bottom. My only complaint is that the desc. indicated it was hydration bladder compatible, ans I haven't been able to figure out how...

This pack was just to be used as a gym bag for a pair of sneakers, shorts, socks and a t-shirt, witha few toiletries. It is AT CAPACITY when stuffed with these items. I'd equate this to a large fanny pack as far as volume. Maybe decent for hiking on a 4 hour jaunt to put your lunch and/or waterbottle and a light jacket in. Beyond that, it's useless but looks good with a nice finish quality by Burton.

Perfect backpack for day hikes in CO. I can carry my large camara with accessories, so I'm always ready to take great pictures. Also very important to carry water on hikes and this back pack is made to accept a hydration reservoir.
