It is warm, dry. IT runs long, which is good because it covers their bottom when riding the ski lifts, etc. The colors are fun too, you can always find your kid on the mountain!

This jacket is ridiculously sized for a child. I ordered the small, which in other brands would equate to a children's size 8. When this jacket arrived the sleeves are so long they are even too long for me and I typically wear a women's small. The torso is closer to a true size 8 but then the length is again almost long enough for me. Do not buy this coat unless you are shopping for a petite girl regularly sized 14-16.

This jacket runs way way too large. I bought this coat, size small, for my 11 year old daughter. The coat is very long in the back and the sleeves are too long as well. It would be a cute jacket if it were shorter. I'm sending it back.

I bought this jacket for my 11 year old granddaughter that wears a size 8-10 which is a medium. The jacket was way to big. I am going to reorder a size small, which says it is a 5-6. I think they have the sizing missed up. Honestly, the coat is so cute and very cool! I would recommend the coat for anyone that goes skiing, just remember the medium is like a 12-14.

About Burton

One name will always remain synonymous with the snowboarding movement, and that name is Burton. Back in 1978, the sport of snowboarding was virtually unknown and completely on the fringe, but Jake Burton quit his day job to make snowboards in his living room anyway. By the 1980s, Burton snowboards were helping people discover a totally new and exhilarating way to carve the snow. More than thirty years later, Burton snowboards and bindings are still leading the industry with cutting-edge technologies and killer-looking designs, as are Burton boots. On the slopes, Burton jackets and pants are made to help you beat the elements and look great doing it. Long live winter.
