Casual daily sportswear - not so much for skiing.

This is a very good quality jacket. I ordered Large as I don’t like things skin-tight. It runs small as it is tighter on me than the one illustrated.
I don’t remember if there was a larger size, but I don’t think so, so I am keeping it.

I love this for spring riding days, to wear as my outer layer. Stylish and comfy. My best friend has one that I have coveted for awile, so now we match!

I ordered a few soft shell jackets to compare for the purpose of spring skiing.

This jacket, while very cute and flattering, was just not practical enough for what I needed it for. It only has two pockets, which seem kind of shallow and small. It is also very close fitting, so if you wan to put any sort of long sleeve layers underneath, you would need to size up.

I like the idea of the collar that comes up high enough to cover your neck and chin, but it looks funny when unzipped.

It *is*, however, very soft, inside and out, and very well made. I just think it would be better for casual use than for winter sports.
    • Best Uses: Casual Wear
    • Chest Size: Feels too small
    • Cons: Not enough pockets
    • Describe Yourself: Intermediate
    • Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living
    • Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Warm
    • Sleeve Length: Feels true to length
    • Was this a gift?: No

About Burton

One name will always remain synonymous with the snowboarding movement, and that name is Burton. Back in 1978, the sport of snowboarding was virtually unknown and completely on the fringe, but Jake Burton quit his day job to make snowboards in his living room anyway. By the 1980s, Burton snowboards were helping people discover a totally new and exhilarating way to carve the snow. More than thirty years later, Burton snowboards and bindings are still leading the industry with cutting-edge technologies and killer-looking designs, as are Burton boots. On the slopes, Burton jackets and pants are made to help you beat the elements and look great doing it. Long live winter.
