These snow pants are really well made, but because they are low rise, I just didn't think they would be good for me in powder or cold, blowy conditions. I prefer snow pants that provide higher coverage. and I wish these included scuff guards. Instead the zippers are on the inside of the ankle, which I guess is fine for snow boarding, but not so great for tele skiing. I returned them in spite of the fact that I had really wanted to love them.

I have only worn these pants once, on a day that started out cold, grew warmer, and then ended with snow/rain mix. When they got too warm, the zipper vents came in handy. And they stayed dry through contact with wet chair lift and atmostphere. Goretex cannot be beaten as a waterproof, venting fabric. The pattern is a bit wild for 48 year old gal like me, but my solid jackets are a good contrast.
