“To good to be true, but works well”

“I have been looking for a long range range finder and thought I found it. The information says it is good to 999 yards but when I got it that is only to a reflective object the size of a house. When I tried it on a house at 550 yards it would not even pick it up until it was in the sun. The shade side of the house had no reading. The box tells you it is only good for 3oo yards on a deer or elk. While this is fine, and should have been assumed at this price, it was not clear. This is a good mid-range rang finder just don't be fooled by the information provided.”
