Took this hammock on a canoe trip and spent two nights in it. Loved it. The temp dropped slightly below freezing the first night. I slept in a 25 degree-rated sleeping bag in the hammock. The only things that got cold were my face and my feet. The next night I wore socks and put a hand warmer in my sleeping bag, and I slept like a baby. I went with 5 others guys, all of whom slept in ENO hammocks that cost 3 to 4 times as much as my hammock. They had more complaints about being cold and uncomfortable than I did in my Byer of Maine. I highly suggest buying and using a tarp or rainfly, in case of rain and to keep the dew off of you in the mornings. You'll also need to buy straps or ropes to tie the hammock up with. For anyone looking to get into hammock camping, I highly suggest this one. It's great.
