    Pros:
    Comfortable Grip
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
A little too heavy for every day carry. The knife locks solidly and feels good in the hand. I have some difficulty opening it one-handed compared to the CRKT M16.

A good sized blade. No small pocket knife. Well built, nice design that is not over done.

I'm a firefighter and avid hunter. I like Spydercos because they're slim in the pocket and I have large hands. The Byrd's weight and workmanship are about 80% as good as the Spyder, but the price can't be beat. The Byrd is a bit stiff to open, but a drop of oil helps.

Spyderco design and quality control at a great price! This is a large knife that handles many tasks well. It is all stainless steel so it has some weight to it but it that also makes it incredibly strong. Lockback design is foolproof.
