Reviewed by Blade collector from Ohio on Saturday, December 12, 2015Good size and weight for EDC, it is hard to open quickly with one hand due to the stiffness of the lockback design.
Reviewed by Riverrun from Oakland, CA on Saturday, April 20, 2013As I said, my wife enjoys whittling and carving and this knife fits her hand perfectly, good blade stays sharp.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by tw from Laveen, Arizona on Wednesday, November 14, 2012On the down side, I find this knife a little hard to open with one hand. On the up side, it comes out of the pocket very smoothly and the clip is placed so that it is in the correct presentation for a right handed user in the right pocket.
Reviewed by cebu archer from Cebu, Philippines- island in the Pacific on Thursday, November 8, 2012everyday knife. 1 in my car. 1 in my pocket. My spyderco endura is too precious to use everyday.
- Cons: I Cant Do One Hand Open
- Pros: Cheaper Than Spydercos
Verified Buyer Reviewed by karlos from boise, id on Wednesday, October 31, 2012you can't go wrong with a spyderco knife. very well made, the flat black finish is super cool and the thing is SHARP. great knife, awesome price.
Reviewed by Postime from PA on Thursday, October 18, 2012If you can score this for around $20, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. The meadowlark has a really solid feel and nice finish. The knife is a little heavy for edc, but that adds to the overall solid impression. There is 0 blade play in the unit I received. If you handed me the knife and told me it was a fixed blade, I would believe you, that's how little blade play there is.
The black blade and black handle looks great. Very sharp out of the box.
- Best Uses: EDC
- Cons: Handle Finish Not Perfect, Heavy
- Pros: 4 Positions For Belt Clip, Lanyard hole, Solid feel, Zero Blade Play
