Calida Claremont Bra (For Women)

I loved Calida's former styles sold by Sierra Traders and those were the only bras I purchased for years. I am dismayed by the foam padding or molded cups of Calida's recent styles. I loved their single-thickness fabric underwire bras, which were often high cotton content. The molded cups feel unnatural, dense, and unpleasantly warm. Please tell Calida!

I bought this thinking it would be the answer to my cotton with padding bra prayers. I bought two, tried on one and am sending the one untried back. It is just flat out uncomfortable! The tag in the back bothered me, the strap clips to adjust bothered me - waaaaa!

calida usually runs big. but this bra feels at least a size smaller. bought another bra from calida "just touch" which is true to size.

i buy a lot of Calida products and have never been disappointed. They have great quality and the workmanship shows. I bought this bra in every color available even though I didn't need bras. When I do need new ones they will be there waiting. I tell all my friends to buy Calida. Because of the great prices I am able to buy ahead. Thanks

The button detail fell off as soon as I washed it, but it's for decor only. Nice fit and comfortable, but not crazy about the trim across the top.

...heavily padded--your basic molded cup. If that's what you like, this bra is probably ideal.

I purchased 4 of the Calida bras to see which might fit since over the years I only have found one other company that has a bra that fits me with a steep price and really wanted to find something new that would not cost so much. Of the 4 Calida bras I bought, the Claremont was fantastic. It had everything I could want in a bra and the fit was perfect. I promptly bought out the stock in my size since I did not know when I might see this appear again. The cups are slightly molded so nothing shows through but the fit, for those of us who are not too big, it is perfect. After adjusting the shoulder straps they have never slipped off and they are very pretty. I bought boy-cut briefs and camisoles to match. I bought so much and really for so little money. I'm happy

This is the first Calida item that has ever disappointed me. The description says the cup is "lightly padded", but the padding for the D-cup size (where none is needed) is far too thick. The cups are canted out to the sides, so one tends to "slide" out whenever one leans or bends over, or reaches forward or almost any motion. It needs constant readjustment unless one is sitting perfectly still. I ordered this bra because I was so impressed with another Calida bra I got recently. It fit perfectly (and it is hard to find a D-cup in a 32). I guess Calida bras are not all created equal.

I bought 5 different styes of the Calida bras to see which I would like the most and the Claremont won - it was perfect. I think I bought out all of these bras in my size. The price was incredible. I am used to paying about [$] a bra instead of under $20.00. Too good to be true but the bra fits perfectly and I am just so happy with it. One of the other 5 bras I tried also fit but wasn't pretty like the Claremont is so I just stuck to the Claremont products.
