    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bought this bra to wear with a silk dress. If I had seen the bra in a store and had been able to inspect it and touch it, I would not have bought it. All my bras are Calida. This one just doesn't cut it. I am also surprised that Calida is "going American" with this absurd fad of the "padded bra." Spare me. I'm an A-cup and happy. The padding looks absurd.

    This is a VERY comfortable bra. And the straps aren't sliding, which is usually a problem for me. If they had more colors I would definitely buy them!

    This is a very comfortable and nice bra. It has a lot of cotton so it's also soft. The lace accents are sweet and the pinstripes are barely noticeable. This is a very light gray bra, just as it's shown in the photo. I love Calida bras, particularly those that have some padding. I wouldn't say these are "lightly padded" as stated in the description, though. The padding is a little more substantial. It would have been nice to have double hook closure but the single hook is okay.
