Calida Excelsior Henley Shirt - Stretch Cotton, Long Sleeve (For Women)

As other reviewers have noted, yes, the neckline is very low and, yes, it is very lightweight, almost sheer. But it's a lovely and versatile color (the mahogany) and it will be nice for layering. It looks great over a cream, lace-trimmed Calida camisole I have, or it would be neat under a vest.

I like the color and cut, except the neckline feels way too cut-out and low. i would have to wear something else under it in the cooler weather, which would be silly, so am sending it back.

Some brands are hit or miss but not Calida. They are always reliable.

Makes a great layering piece for walking/running, etc. It does run a tad large - the small seemed to fit like a medium in other brands. (Glad I saw the other reviews with the sizing alert.) Very comfy.

This seems to fall in Sierra's athletic category (judging by the options for the review) but I don't think I'd consider it for that. I'm putting it more in the category of lounge wear. It is a very nice, lightweight material (I got the dark grey so I'll actually wear it out of the house, I think it would be too thin with a light color though) and very comfortable. It's listed as "trim fit" which is not accurate. I typically wear a size large or a medium that runs large. I ordered this top in a medium and can wash and dry it and still have it fit roomy.
