Not very impressed

I've looked at, and read reviews about, Calida products for years and finally purchased some. This top is no softer, or well constructed, than what I can purchase at discount stores. Also, the picot trim around the armholes is not comfortable against the skin and this top is not tight on me. Maybe this will improve with washing but the supposedly wonderful softness of Calida garments appears to be missing from this one.

I've worn this under several different styles of tops that need a little something underneath. The lace looks great where it fills in a low neckline. The keyhole at the vee is a unique touch. My only complaint is that the edging on the armholes is kind of wavy and does not fit smoothly.

I bought this for an elderly aunt who likes to have an extra layer during the cold winter months. She loves the Calida brand because of its exquisite fabrics and wider straps. This is a lovely garment at an extraordinary price.

This is a very soft, comfortable garment. It is definitely an "undie" type of thing. I have worn it as a camisole under tops requiring this. If you want to wear it under an open shirt you will need to close the keyhole as another reviewer mentioned. I do not and it works great.

Calida makes beautiful stuff but their cami sizing is all over the map! I ordered this in a large (I'm 6'1" 187LBS) and it was immense, more like an XL. The fabric, style details were extra-ordinarily nice so I re-ordered a small. It fits and is lovely and comfortable, esp like the lace inset down the side. Paired with the bra in same color & style it could be worn for casual wear or informal dancing.

The color is a dish-water drab, but it's actually quite nice on. The button closure in the front doesn't work so I sewed it together and it looks fine.
