I still don't like Calida's new fabric (the wool/silk they used to use was much better, had no itch, and was thicker), but I can wear this fabric on my lower parts (had to return scratchy tops, previous versions of which I am beyond sad to be unable to replace). The other panty style, briefs, were fine, and I bought several pairs after discovering them. These, however, weren't fine for me. They have a nice look and shape to them, despite being slightly higher-waisted than I like, but the problem was the cheekiness. These are not normal boyshorts that offer full coverage (kind of the point). Instead, they leave the bottom part of the booty revealed and have no grip at the bottom lace, leaving me feeling naked back there. This makes them feel as if they're riding up, as well. If I were to wear them in activities, I imagine they would ride up. If they had slightly more cheek coverage and "held on" better in the back, I probably would have kept them. I love boyshorts. If you don't mind the "loose" feeling in the back, you might love these. They run big. I am normally a M/L, despite being a small person (curvy booty), and I fit the XS or S. If you have no booty and are very petite, these will likely be too big for you in even an XS.
I hope Calida goes back to their better fabric soon, but again, I am able to tolerate this fabric on my lower body.
