Calida Retro Chic Nightgown - Cotton, Spaghetti Strap (For Women)

Very pretty nightgown. Small fits me and I usually wear a small or medium depending on manufacturer. Very pretty style detail with lace on bodice and soft cotton material. I was looking for something stylish and comfortable and I got both!

Nice enough nightshirt in unusual putty color (works for me), but it's sized HUGE. My chest is 40" and the M was too big, and even bigger in the waist and hips. It's also kind of short, so it's really a nightshirt rather than a nightgown. I don't think the M will fit you unless you wear a 16.

I love Calida gowns Most are uber soft, comfortable but far from sexy. This one is amazing. I would have bought two more as gifts if size L was still available.

I bought this as a nursing night gown. It works fine and is soft, but it does run a little big and it doesn't have much shape to it. Bottom line: It's very functional, but not flattering.

I love being able to wear this around. I live in a tropical environment and like having something simple and nice to throw on after a shower.

My daughter loves the simplicity of this gown and it's perfect for warm nights in Mexico. It runs slightly large - I ordered a medium although she typically wears a large.

This is a beautifull nightgown. Soft, comfortable and sexy. Can also be used as a gown you would were under the dress if it a see through.

Nothwithstanding the other reviewers' comments, I really wanted to like this nightgown. However, I must admit it is a bit shapeless - it runs slightly large and didn't fit me as well as I had hoped - it looks "boxy", but I don't know if a smaller size would have fit any better - the problem might be the cut of the gown itself. That being said, it's extremely well made and really comfy and the lace detail at the top is feminine and pretty. My hope is that once it goes through the wash a few times it may shrink itself into a more form fitting shape...(Calida things don't usually shrink, but we can hope.)

Like the classic style and it is very well made. Always great material. We are a Calida family. Hard to go wrong. They wear like iron.

I have bought other Calida nightgowns and a size S (8-10) always fits me. This one, though, was very large throughout, and was not cut in at the waist -- very shapeless. Couple that with the grey color, and it looked like prison-issue wear. A Victorian prison, maybe, but a prison nonetheless. I returned it.
