Calida Satin Feeling Nightshirt - Modal, Long Sleeve (For Women)

Really great feel...so very soft...washes well...fits true to size...and it's so very classy!

I have been looking for a knee-length nightgown with a neckline in the back that is all the way up to my neck and is not cotton or flannel. This nightshirt fits the bill. It is soft and stretchy which makes for comfortable sleeping. The tie may be a bit annoying, but I double knot it and have no problem with it staying tied.

I bought this nightshirt in black and liked it so much, I bought a second one in dark blue.

I tried on my nightgown when it arrived and I just couldn't take it off to wash before wearing it ~ so I wore it that first night.

Like the style of the collar. I makes it reasonable for lounging, but would be better if the fabric were a little heavier.

this is lovely, great fabric and not at all like frumpy nightgowns. also, all the above comments are true too, (wish the ribbon wouldnt fall in sink when brush teeth,) and I wouldnt be embarassed if caught popping outside in it, just wish it came in a long length too so i would feel more comfortable lounging on the couch in it.

Material is very nice, soft and warm. Nightgown is constructed nicely, no scratchiness on the inside either.

Micromodal is an awesome fabric in softness, breathability. This one is a little thinner (not sheer though) than others I've had, but if it holds up OK than I think it is terrific. There is a bit of strechiness that is supposed to be a bit more controlled in micromodal than just regular modal. That is good for being able to slide the sleeves to your elbow if it warm. Also it may hug your tummy curve a little at first, but that relaxes out in no time. Standard modal sort of stretches out, it seems that micromodal is better at returning to its original shape. (NEVER buy regular modal panties. Fit great for a day, then you'll spend the next wearing picking them up since they stretch out and slide down and soon thereafter throw them away. Same with a relaxed sleeveless item - the underarm will keep sagging...) So I switched to micromodal since I do love the absorbancy of modals in general - quick drying and so soft. I sat in a heated massage vinyl chair and got all hot and sweaty. In about 15 minutes it dried out and I was comfortable very quickly. Had it been cotton it would have had to be taken off and air dried for a few hours. I was concerned about the collar on this being very senior-looking, but I am a happy 35 year old purchaser. It looks like a nice dress which hits just below the knee. So very modest cut, but flattering & pretty and feel comfortable going out quick on the patio or deck for mail or watering flowers if neighbors caught a glimpse. Nice lounge wear. Wish it came in a short sleeve. It is thermo-regulating, but long sleeves are long sleeves, so not great if it is about 75+.
