“not up to snuff”

“the top pieces are made of stretchy, comfortable fabric, but the pajama pants are make of a non-stretch fabric, and were not as comfortable. This fabric was very thin, and it split apart completely after about 5 washings. The top pieces were sturdier and still looked new after the same number of washings. BUT, the sizes were odd. The jacket was too large, and the camisole was much too small and too low cut. I threw out the whole set when the pants split - after owning the pajamas for a very short while.”
