Calida Shiny Elegance Pajamas - 3-Piece, Micromodal®, Long Sleeve (For Women)

the top pieces are made of stretchy, comfortable fabric, but the pajama pants are make of a non-stretch fabric, and were not as comfortable. This fabric was very thin, and it split apart completely after about 5 washings. The top pieces were sturdier and still looked new after the same number of washings. BUT, the sizes were odd. The jacket was too large, and the camisole was much too small and too low cut. I threw out the whole set when the pants split - after owning the pajamas for a very short while.

This item waws WAY large. I ordered a Large as that is all the was left. Which I though would be ok, even if it was a little roomy. This fit more like an XXL. [...]

Even though this set has great reviews I was unsure of ordering it in case anyone else feels that way I thought I'd leave a detailed review. Like most Calida items, it runs large. Normally I'd order a medium but since they only had large and small I took a risk and got the small which ended up fitting - and my bra size is a 36D or 38D and I wear at least a size 10 pants. Even though it is called "Shiny" it isn't very shiny. I think from the title I thought the pants would be a shiny satin but they are more of a matte finish with a slight sheen (there is a dotted pattern and the dots have the sheen). Also, the pants are a little thin. The weight and feel of them reminds me of the fabric you'd use to line pants with (if they were a light color they would be see-through). It has a nice feel though being a cotton/silk blend. The camisole and long sleeve top are a terrific soft, silky, stretchy modal. The color of the set is difficult to describe. It's called "iron" but, depending on the light, it either looks like charcoal or a dark, muted purple color. That doesn't sound as pretty as it actually is though. I was also a little surprised by the sequins. I guess I imagined they would be white/silver but they are more of a prism style (multi-color). Since these are small sequins and on a dark, muted color they aren't too over the top though and you don't really notice the colors. Overall, a very nice set!

I just love calida cotton. You won't want to have sleepwear that is anything but calida.

Attractive stylish pajamas that are comfortable to wear

Who knew that such classy jammies would be so comfy. The microfiber tank and top are really soft and surprisingly warm. The pants are thin and silky. Love the tasteful detailed trim with the tiny sequins - just a little sparkle to feel special.

softer than I thought they would be. wasn't excited about sequins on pjs, but they're okay. thin silk pants are comfortable, soft, and wash well.

Just got it, and can't wait to use them. This is soft, elegant. I wouldn't have thought of making the top super-soft and the bottom silky. Think that will make it not stick to the sheets. The pants are super long for my petite frame, but everything is. Should be easy to hide my hemming behind the decorative ankle band.

These are very nice and the jacket is perfect. I ordered a small and a medium would have been too large. Top is a little skimpy but very comfortable on our warm nights and the jacket is nice when it is cooler.
