(I am 5'9" tall, weight 145 and am a very standard medium size.) When this nightgown arrived, it was ENORMOUS! Be sure to order one size smaller than you normally wear. I returned the medium but the small short sleeve gown was out of stock. I then ordered the 3/4 sleeve in a small and it fit perfectly. I wasn't sure about the 3/4 length sleeves but they easily push up over my elbows, so not a problem. The cotton in this nightgown is extremely soft and comfortable and the style is quite feminine. I especially like the gathers in the front. I would absolutely recommend this nightgown, just be sure to order a size smaller than normal.
