Calida Soft Cotton Nightshirt - Long Sleeve (For Women)

I'm looking for nighties to wear when my grandchildren visit. This is too see-through.

There is no better brand than Calida for nightgowns. They are all-around perfect, especially this classic model. And they last forever.

Nice soft feel and stretchs enough to be comfortable to sleep in. The gown does run large and didn't seem to shrink the way most 100% cottons do.

I have worn Calida products for many years even before I found them this country and have always been impressed by the quality and the comfort. Calidas wear almost forever. I purchased a Medium and a Large. I am a Large or sometimes XL but the Medium fit me well. Still I took the Large because I missed the little tucks in the back (that you find on the classic with the embroidered "C"). They would have given the gown more roominess in the back. So I chose the Large because I like my nightgowns loose, plus knowing that in time it will shrink length wise. Yes the sleeves are very long and wide, but laying in bed holding a book, the ends of the sleeves hit my wrists just right. I added an extra button at the edge to hold the sleeves in place. Perfect for spring, fall, and cold summer nights.

I love this nightgown. I tend to be cold, so I don't wear it on cold nights. It is very comfortable because the cotton is so soft. I have purchased 8 Calida nightgowns this year, a couple for my daughter.

Just right in every way -- fabric and fit.

This is one of the nicest nightshirts i have ever had. It is the right length and sleeves are just right for me. I realize that I do not like the short nightshirts as much. It is very soft and does not wrinkle. The white color makes me think of early years of my marriage. Thank you for carrying the Calida fashions. [...]

Like all Calida gowns, this one is wonderfully soft, but I wish they'd just go all out and make one for sleeping when it's really cold. The banding on the long sleeves is great for keeping them from riding up like the other long-sleeved Calida gown I have, and it is longer than any I've got, but why couldn't they have gone ahead and made it full-length instead of mid-calf? And I wish the cotton had been just a bit heavier. And while I'm picking nits, I wish it had been available in something other than white. But I'm sure I will get plenty of comfortable wear out of it, and when it's really cold I can layer it with that other one (which despite its long sleeves is very light weight).

I ordered a medium which is my usual size but it is quite large. there were no small available for exchange so I am keeping it as it is such a nice nightgown. Catalog calls it a nightshirt but the length is really a nightgown.

I always wanted to try this brand gown but could not find it in an XL. Finally I did and it was worth the wait! This is oh so classic and the cut is perfect. I had to buy it in white and I look rather slim in it!! This is not a trendy, hip gown, but suitable if you had to run out of a burning building, be hospitalized or answer the door. A rich look. Not matronly. A classic.
