I had done some reading and cost comparisons on the Calphalon Unison pans. This seemed to be a good buy. The sear and slide pans each have a different type finish and their own purpose. Use accordingly and the results are very good. I cooked steaks in the sear pan and achieved excellent browning. Pan kept uniform and even heat on an electric glass cooktop. Omelet releases from slide pan with very little extra fat. Haven't had them long enough to try good variety of foods but expect to do so.

High quality non stick pans with a life time guarantee. The sear pan is so neat. With very little oil, I could make crispy Chinese noodle, which usually requires a lot of oil. The slide pan turns out excellent omelettes. The price at Sierra is a wonderful deal.
