    This is my second pair. The first pair I used in the Philippines for walking and as a dive slipper. Initially I was concerned about the toughness of the mesh. This turned out not to be a problem. My first pair have holes in the front where the big toe is located. My fault! as I should have kept my nails trimmed shorter. Keep your nails trimmed and they'll last longer!

    I would order one size smaller - when I got the first pair, had ordered my normal size - they were comfortable but felt awkward in walking because too long in the toe.

    For large feet inside cramped space of a sea kayak water shoes were too big and bare feet after a while are uncomfortable on the pedals. These slippers solved the problem and have served well on initial use. I used largest available size of these slippers.

    Love these in my kayak. They are flexible and lightweight, very comfortable. Small problem: landed on a soft sandy beach and got quite a bit of sand in the shoe though it rinsed right out.

    Will be using these as a slipper before putting on fins. The top of the foot section is made of a mesh. It will help to keep feet cool, but not sure how durable it is. Time will tell.
