I'm using these in my wildlife research field work with waterfowl. These gloves have a lot of dexterity, which is crucial with this work. They are not the warmest in the world, but they work better for my use than I have found yet.

Haven't been out to the lake to try these out yet. They are comfortable. Wish there were more sizes and smaller sizes.[...]

I tried these gloves out on a cold day paddling whitewater to see if they would be any better than pogies (neoprene mits that attach to the paddle to keep the hands warm and toasty) unfortunately they don't come close. gloves and water are simply difficult to work with. I haven't tried any other gloves for paddlesports, but I've gone through three different pairs of pogies and even the worst of them beat gloves. if you're going to buy these to keep your hands warm on the river, try a pair of pogies first.

I fish all year around and have yet to find the 'perfect' cold weather glove. It has to keep your hands dry, it has to provide for dexterity, and it has to keep your hands warm. This maybe the one. I have small hands (7-8) and the xs fit perfectly. They do stretch and are fairly snugg. Order accordingly.

Am using for dragonboating. Recently used on a cold and windy night, and my hands stayed very warm, even though they were regularly submerged in the water while paddling. Could use a bit more grip on the palm-my hand occasionally slips on the paddle shaft. Great price--I'll probably order a 2nd pair. Also, I have small hands, so it was nice to find a pair that fits decently.

I wear them for windsurfing, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba.

I am a novice. I tried the gloves and they were grate!
