“My wife and I both purchased these ice hoods. These are the older models which are 2mm all around (new models have 5mm on the actual hood, 2mm on the vest).
We ordered them to address the lovely surge of freezing water that ran down our necks using a regular hood as we entered the water. Works like a charm. Also found the 2mm hood to be more than enough insulation diving in Lake Tahoe and Monterey Bay.”
