I use my wetsuit for diving, body boarding, and windsurfing in colder water. I don't know what makes this a "semi-dry" wetsuit. There is no neck valve like there would be on a dry suit, and the ankle and wrist valves have soft material on the inside which doesn't make them ideal for keeping out water. All in all, water gets in like any close-fitting wetsuit. But, if you're looking for a warm wetsuit, it's fine, and if you're looking to stay dry, you should be looking at drysuits anyway. The chest is a little tight for an athletic build. Also, the fit around the waist is a bit strange. I have a fairly small butt, but the waist isn't pulled in enough, so a pocket space is created above the butt at the lower back. It's not a huge problem, but it's strange.
