“I was hoping to use the snorkel for lap swimming (since I hated turning my head to breathe). The snorkel doesn't allow me to inhale or exhale fast enough, so it makes my lungs burn while swimming laps. This is probably due to the slatted shape of the top of the snorkel (which keeps water from splashing into it, but restricts air flow while doing it). May work great for slow, leisurely snorkeling, which wouldn't require as much breathing volume. The mask strap is difficult to adjust and the mask is too wide for my face (I have a normal sized face for a woman) so it doesn't seal properly.”
