Yes, that is a Zoolander quote! While the wet suit is fine overall for the price, it should be advertised as a micro wet suit, since my 6-year-old son (52", 73 lbs.) couldn't even zip up the XL. His twin brother (50 1/2", 50 lbs.) *could* fit in the L, but not for long so we are keeping the XL for him. The sizing chart says XL is for up to 63" and 121 lbs.!!! Order 2-3 sizes up and you'll be happy.

Excellent customer service. Allowed immediate return. New shorty is rated 2 sizes and 25# more than my son weighs and just fits him. Disappointed in sizing.

Got this for my tall 8 year old. Although there is ridiculously little sizing information to go off on the website, the 12-14 size fit my tall son. He wears clothes for 10 year olds, if this gives you an idea of its real size.

Great for cold outdoor swim lessons and cold lake water. Trim fit was great for my son. Used the 1st one so much, I bought a size larger for next year.

Bought one size larger and that was a good move. It feels comfy a bit bigger and has a little room to grow. My son gets cold easily when swimming and this will make it be pleasurable. Cut is good and seams fell comfortable.

These were for my boys. Given their preference for comfortable, loose fitting clothes, I probably should have gone for one size bigger. Even with the zipper strap, it is hard for my boys to wear it or take it off on their own. Nevertheless, I am not complaining as I like the quality and style. Dries fast is an added bonus.
