No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“Waist stuck out in back even though these fit otherwise (I did order up a size, as STP recommended). Waistband needed to be contoured since it sits below the waist, but wasn't. Belt didn't help, just uncomfortably pulled pants up to my waist. I expect better of jeans this price. Sent them back, with regret, because fit otherwise was great and corduroy was soft and deeply colored in black.”
