Kind of difficult to fill. Otherwise perfectly functional. Good volume for a short hike or run.

Bought the pack for my 12 year old son. He likes the hydration pack. Keeps the water cool on hot days. The only drawback is removal and installation of the bladder from the pack can be difficult.

I've been using this pack on long runs (~2.5hrs) for the past few weeks. So far the only problem I have had was some leakage around the fill cap on one run. After that I made sure that I really had the cap on tight. Also, you can use some Teflon plumbing tape on the threads to get a better seal, now I have no problems. The pack barely moves when it is fitted snuggly. There is no sloshing if you suck the air out of the bladder when you fill it. The two front storage areas are perfect for carrying your energy chews/gel, and the mesh pockets in the back are great for keys, cellphone, or extra energy items. Overall I would definitely buy it again. In fact I'm thinking of buying a second in case this one ever wears out.
