Reviewed by Del the Bear from Southern California on Thursday, December 5, 2013As a fan of the Camelbak and their military-inspired products I found this a Hydro Pack an awesome find for the price. I use this product for running. The construction is tough and rugged. The fit is great allowing for movement without restriction. I like the insulated line and padded shoulder straps and small compartment for keys, gel packs, etc. The only issue I found is the bladder is an older style bladder but it does have the quick release hose which is great. It can be a bit challenging to remove the bladder from the pack as it is a tight but I found this to be the norm with Camelbak Hydro packs. Overall, I am satisfied with this product.
Reviewed by dog.breath from Arizona on Tuesday, October 22, 2013I bought this for running trails and am very pleased. It holds plenty of water and has just enough room for the extras: small first aid kit, pocket knife, emergency blanket, and a couple of nut bars. The design would even allow one to easily carry a poncho or small tarp if using this for a day hike. It's a pretty good setup and rides snug against the back. A very nice small pack from Camelbak.
Reviewed by Mike the trail biker from Florida on Monday, October 14, 2013This is one Camelbak's nicest packs. Insulated with foam between fabric will keep fluids cool a very long time. Also insulated drinking tube. Only disappointment is that the hydration bladder is the older Omega style and not the currently produced Antidote bladder with the 1/4 turn cap. Other than that its a great pack and the digital desert tan is a nice color that doesn't absorb as much heat from the sun like the darker colors.
Answer These are closeouts with the Omega reservoir.
