  • Question “I've had trouble cleaning the plastic "nipple" part on our plastic camelbak water bottle--can you take this one apart to clean that piece? Thanks,”
Asked on 11/7/2011 12:00:00 AM by biker mom from ohio
    • Answer Yes, you can disassemble the better bottle to clean. Here is the url to CamelBak's page on cleaning your bottle - http://www.camelbak.com/Sports-Recreation/Support/Product-Care/Cleaning.aspx,

    • Answer Yes you can. I put mine in the closed basket part of my dishwasher. Never be afraid of breaking any the straw or the top to your bottle. Camelbak's have a lifetime guarantee and if you go on their website, they will send you a replacement lid or straw if you need it. When my straw and the little plastic flip piece broke on one of my better bottles, they sent me a new lid AND straw. They won me over. Now, the only bottles we will buy ARE Camelbaks because we know they stand by their products. With 5 kids, we need quality products that are meant to last!
