I got this for my son. He just turned 13 and has outgrown his child's Camelbak. He starts Elk hunting this year and needed something more. He may end up using it for Middle School as well, since it will hold his books and water.

I use it for day hikes and it is great for carrying those extra clothes needed for the changing weather in the Smokies.

Moved up to this from a 70 oz. Camelbak hydration pack. Great improvement, having a small daypack capacity for extra layers, energy bars, sunblock, car keys. Attractive color (khaki/black), construction seems quality although haven't had it long enough to comment on its longevity and durability. Great addition to my gear!

We bought this for using while riding horses. It is more than adequate for a day's ride and allows us to bring a jacket, first aid kits for both us and the horses, some snacks and a few other things. Camelback is well made and this one was about half the price of similar units at the store. I love the color.

I needed a hydration pak instead of a water bottle. Its very hot here in georgia and I needed water capacity for a two hour bike and this camelbak was perfect

I bought this pack for use while beach Snook fishing to carry all of my gear plus plenty of cold water for thew hot days on the beach. This little gem has enough room for two fly wallets (which I also bought from Sierra Trading Post) Cell phone, keys, wallet and snacks in the smaller front pocket that was meant to hold a compact disc player. The main compartment is another deal. It is capable of holding a complete First Aid Kit, my digital SLR in its Pelican Box, my lunch and it still has room to spare! The hydration bladder is easy to remove and replace with the zipper opening that goes from the top of the pack down to halfway on the back right side. I love it! This pack is very comfortable to wear too. I have already loaded it up and taken it to the beach on a short hike, at no time was I ever uncomfortable. I was a little concerned about the sternum strap but found it enhances support and is easy to undo should I need to quickly remove the pack from my back. The "D" rings on the straps are a nice touch too. On these I have attached a fly rod holder which is used to keep hands free while tying on a new fly or to hold the rod while I rummage around in the pack, eliminating the need to set the rod down and getting sand in the reel. The other ring has my nippers and pliers at ready. Long story short, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. I have used a Camel Bak for many years and their stuff is quality. The deal from Sierra Trading Post is the icing on the cake!
