I have tried a number of backpacks, never satisfied with the comfort level and water pack size. This one is perfect for women, and the perfect amount of water for a day hike! It is so lightweight and comfortable with adjustable straps and strategic padding. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! This site gives you a great price [...]

This pack has all the capacity I need for a day hiking or biking. It fits snacks and some light weather gear, as well as plenty of water for whatever I'm doing. If it lasts as long as my last Camelback pack, (8 or 9 years before the zippers blew out!) I'll be more than satisfied. I am surprised, however, at how narrow the waist belt is. I'm spending the weekend in Moab, Utah, so if there is a problem, I'll report back.

This pack is a great size for day hikes, offering room for snacks, sunscreen and an extra layer or two. Yet it is compact, easy to carry, and comfortable. There's good access to a special pouch for wallet, phone, keys, etc. and another little compartment on the top for sunglasses or other small items. I can see this pack as one I'll grab for hiking, biking, and travel. It appears to be very well constructed.

This is a great pack for short hikes and even for short weekends away from home at the lake.

I used the product as an airplane carry-on and an overnight/hiking pack. The bladder and hose worked perfectly. The bag was easy to adjust and had lots of room, so much so, I kept losing stuff in the front pocket because it was so deep. My only complaint was that the tag for one of the front zippers broke the first day I used it. The zipper works just fine, but the rope/plastic pull on it came off completely. Other than that, it was exactly what I needed for my trip!

I bought this for a trip- used it as a carry on for my flight, and once I arrived, I installed the water bladder and it was perfect for day hikes. It easily held essentials including my 13" laptop without feeling heavy. I liked the outer pocket feature- it's great for an stashing an extra jacket, trash, etc. Also very comfortable- I'm petite at 5' 2" and it "fit" perfectly. I have no complaints about this pack and would recommend it to anyone!

I had a smaller camelbak that I originally bought for biking which had some storage room. I realized the more I hiked and the different places I went I needed more stuff such as layers, snacks, bear spray, first aid kit, etc, etc, etc. This pack it great! I keep all my essentials in it (bear spray, sunscreen, smaller items, binoculars, knife, small first aid kit) and can also pack a lunch, a few light/packable layers and socks (if in sandals) for a full day hike! I have yet to use it to its fullest capacity (and in cooler weather) but when I do I will definitely update this. So far though, LOVE IT!

Should have been 5 star if tube was concealed in shoulder strap when not in use like our last unit. Otherwise bag is terriffic for dayhikes, biking and other times oversize bag is not need. Would have used as casual bag also if tube had proper stow. Would not have wanted smaller version.
