I used this backpack on a recent trip out west and thought it was great. I did an all-day hike that turned into an overnight hike due to a flash flood, and this pack held enough water to get me through. It also had lots of extra room for a fleece, a hat, a scarf, snacks, small first aid kit, and a... Read More

Whenever I've hiked, I usually complain that I've run out of water AND my back/neck hurts because of my pack. This pack was a godsend! Not only did I plenty of water for my hike, I never once felt the pack! It is a great design for women. It was a dream come true to find a pack that works. And I carried food, a rain jacket in it as well. Lots of space/pockets. I could only complain about my aching thighs and calves!

Excellent price for a Camelbak and it nice to have your water with with. High quality product, but I actually find my child's school backpack more comfortable. Maybe it will wear in after awhile.

I love it!! It's light weight and I had no idea how many pockets it actually has.

What a nice little pack!! It's comfortable, and perfect for day--even long day--hikes. There is room in the camelbak area for items, plus a mid area, and a front section with compartments for more "stuff". I was impressed with this bag. Easy to wear--and I'm not one to like something on my back. It's lightweight, but well made. I feel that this is a sturdy pack. If you are looking for a comfortable way to carry water, and lots of snacks/ light jackets/etc, check this out. The price was awesome too.

  • Question “Is this a good camelback for cycling?”

Asked on 5/6/2015 11:21:55 PM by Merepears from Missouri
    • Answer Hi! Funny you should ask, I'm considering using this when I ride my bike. If you are a cyclist that has the bike with the thin tire and the pedal clips, you might find this bag too bulky. I say that because in my mind, that kind of riding is about being lightweight and streamlined. I have a hybrid bike that is more of a "cruise ship"and speed isn't important. This bag isn't heavy to carry though, and I had the bladder full, plus had food (I walked 50 17 hours)
I would say that if water is more important to you than space, get a bag that is more bladder than storage. This bag does have 3 compartments, with the bladder area being the smallest. I hope this helps you :-)
