CamelBak DisappointmentVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from North Carolina on Thursday, May 11, 2017I have had CamelBak hydration packs before that I had used for hiking but they were larger and had more room for packing things that I might need on a long hike so I was interested in a smaller one for 7 mile walks on a trail around a local lake. From the description and picture this one seemed to fit that bill. My hydration packs for hiking had both waist and chest straps, this has neither so it won't remain positioned where I want it for comfort. The picture shows the tube hanging down when it actually sticks straight out in front. Yes, there is a clamp on one side to secure it but the clamp is so tight that I am unable to use it to secure the tube without taking off the pack so that I can position it is a way to use enough force to get the tube back into the clamp.

But I have never had a problem with the numerous Camelback items already in use, and Camelback customer service is always helpful.

Good size for MTB and day hiking. The one pocket for accessories is so small that not even a spare tire tube can fit in it. It is good for an energy bar, gel, or some really miniature and flat thingamajig. It works well for me as I can put my tubes and tools in my bike's saddle pouch, but definitely consider a larger Camelbak if you have some additional cargo to carry.

Red color suitable for both sexes.Reviewed by HSL from NJ on Monday, March 30, 2015This is a minimalist hydration vest (more of a vest than a true pack) that allows you to carry 1.5L of water with a small pocket for money/credit card. It would be great for running where you want to minimize your baggage. I like the design where you can fill the bladder without taking it out. Lastly, the vest is a true red color so guys as well as gals can use it. If you are looking for a minimalist hydration vest with 1.5L water capacity, give this one a try.
