4.0 out of 5 stars. High qualityVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Juneau, AK on Monday, May 14, 2018This pack is really spectacular in every way except one: The chest strap is located way too high up the backpack straps, so high that it touches my neck when I'm hiking which is very nervewracking and uncomfortable. So I end up unhooking it which then the weight isn't distributed properly. I'm considering returning it, even though I love the organization and the quality seems excellent.

5.0 out of 5 stars. nice packVerified Buyer Reviewed by jg from Colorado on Sunday, April 8, 2018Bought this for my tall, skinny 10-yr-old daughter. She loves it (but what kid doesn't love a new toy?). It's just a touch too big for her, but that's fine as she'll grow into it and can use it now, just not as comfy as it will be in a year. What I (Dad) like is the water bladder, good compression straps and a nice place to strap a jacket to the outside of the pack. Also a good assortment of pockets, but not so many as to complicate things. The suspension is such that you can put all of the weight on your hips (she can only just cinch the belt tight enough to do so) if you want, so on long hikes, she will be able to adjust the weight distribution between shoulders and hips as one or the other gets sore. We've not used this pack yet except for one or two very short hikes, so I can say nothing about durability

3.0 out of 5 stars. Try the 2018 Sequoia instead ...Reviewed by Out and About from Washington on Tuesday, March 13, 2018I'm 5'7" and 140 lbs and I had to return this pack. The padded parts of the shoulder straps are pretty short and the chest strap is not adjustable. On me, it fell just below my chin. When I looked down, my chin brushed the strap. The 2018 Sequoia has an adjustable chest strap. I haven't tried it, but it might do the trick. My other issue is that I had to let the shoulder straps out quite a bit in order to drop the pack so that my hips were bearing the weight. The pack was just a bit too short for my torso.
Storage looked great! I'm sorry this didn't fit me better.
