We use these for day hikes of ten miles or less around our home in Orange County, California. The bottles hold a total of 1.5 quarts of water, which is plenty for us. Bottles stay put without straps or elastic. Recommended without reservation

I purchased this hydration belt for an upcoming marathon. I am finiding it bulky and hard to adjust to my small frame. I'm a petite woman and it is somethat difficult to get the belt small enough for a tight fit. I like the size of the bottles because I can put water in one and Cytomax in the other for long hikes or training days. I will prabably end up using this for day hiking rather than marathon training. I would recommend this to a friend who isn't petite!

Excellent fanny pack for a lighter weight water carrying. Carries two bottles, keys, and ID during a walk, bike or run.

Great pack but it was too big and bulky for me. Regrettably, I had to send it back.

It is a little heavy and bouncy when running with it on the back. Otherwise very good water supply.

I really like this pack. Its little smaller than I wanted but I really like it. I wanted something a bit bigger but its a keeper. The water bottles are very functional and they move in and out bag very easily while on the trail.

Training for marathons I wanted something that I could bring all my fluids and gels or food along with me and this fits the bill nicely. Plenty of fluid capacity and it also has nice pockets for food items or gels. I can go and run or hike for miles and not have to worry about dehydration or bonking. It is a bit heavy when fully loaded and will bounce some when running, but as you drink down the fluids you dont notice any bounce anymore. It also works well with just one bottle, does not feel like its tilting to one side. I also really like the Big Bite valve, easy to use and get lots of water out of it. For the price I am very pleased as it also can be used for all day events like a summertime festival or fair where your walking all day in the heat. Recently used it for just that and worked like a charm.

this is definitely a great hands-free device to use when going on hikes. however, being a petite woman, i should have resorted to a type made for women for less bulkiness. overall, it serves it's purpose.
