I purchased this jersey for my wife, to go with matching Campagnolo Racing Series jacket and knickers. Like all Campagnolo Sportswear products, it's impeccably made, beautifully (and close-) fitting, and very attractive & stylish. But please note: (1) This is NOT a summer jersey! Despite (incorrect?) tags indicating summer usage, it's Campy's L118 jersey, which is listed in the 2009 & 2010 Campagnolo catalogs as a Winter item. The "Alaska" fabric is lightweight, thin, stretchy, and breathable, yes -- but it's fleecy on the inside surface (smooth on the outside), moderately more wind-resistant than ordinary jersey material, and comfortable at temperatures down at least to the mid-low 60s (and probably mid-50s with a good base layer). Hence it's ideal for late Spring / early Fall. (2) Like all of Campy's "Racing" series, the jersey fits very closely, and is meant for an athletic rider in a road-bike position (particularly in the cut of the shoulders, and in the short front waist / long back hem). (3) Surprisingly, the sleeves are much shorter than those in the matching Racing jacket: my wife has exceptionally long arms, and although Campy's Racing Women's jackets have sleeves that (barely) fit her, this jersey leaves her wrists exposed. (For most women with normally-proportioned arms, however, the sleeve length should be about just right.) (4) There's Campy's usual attention to detail: the inside surface of the (white) collar is given a black facing to preclude soiling; the front and rear logos are reflective; and the white panels (on the red jersey) are of a more breathable (less wind-resistant) material than the main body & sleeve panels, to allow more ventilation under the arms. (5) Sizing is a little tricky: according to the Campagnolo website's sizing chart, my wife should be a solid "Medium" -- but when we purchased Campy's short-sleeve Racing jersey (also from Sierra - see review), we found Medium to be skin-tight, and Large to be comfortably unstretched but not loose (as the Large better fit my 5'10" 135lb wife's relatively broad shoulders, we went with that). This L118 long-sleeve, however, fits a bit more loosely in the arms and body than does the short-sleeve -- it looks like it's cut with the expectation that you'll often be wearing a warm base layer under it. Hence, whereas the Campagnolo Racing Women's short-sleeve jersey should probably be sized up one notch if you don't want a skin-tight fit, with this Racing Women's long-sleeve you can perhaps go directly with the sizing chart, assuming you won't be wearing a base layer (for my wife, we stayed with the Large, because of her shoulders and long arms). (6) And finally, the overall appearance is very flattering to those with a slim or endurance-athlete build. My wife likes it. =)
