“You know that clammy feeling of substandard foul weather gear? This stylish jacket has it in spades. But it's light and "bikey stylie" so I'll bring it on my upcoming eight day Tour de Farce. I am not geekly weight conscious on bike tours. I may carry a real rain shell as well for stealth camping showers. The "Campy" will be nice to have on cool evenings in trail towns and county fairs along the way. Haven't tested it in any real rain, wore it in a drizzle and felt a wetness. It acts like a thin odd spongy wet suit. (fit is true "eurosnug". )
If you are looking for performance cycling rain gear, try an epic jacket $$$$ or paclite $$. Better yet, in summer rain wear wool and get wet, simply swap out for a dry jersey in the evening. ta-da!
