I generally find wool items to be itchy against my skin but had no problems with this. Just wore it today for the first time (quick 20 mile ride @55 degrees). Very slightly itchy (mid back) for first 5 minutes getting bike ready but zero issues during ride. I'd have been a little too cold in a synthetic so it was perfect. If you do find it itchy I expect it'll be fine after the first washing. I just snagged another one in white. Also, the XL is slightly tight on me and I'm normally a L (and sometimes a L is slightly too big). So I'd agree with other reviews, get a size to larger. Length is good. Rear pockets are good. Looks great.

well, it's not at all like the newer Merino wool jeseys. I was sadly taken back to the days long ago when wool jerseys were itchy and uncomfortable. After having bought the newer ,lighter, and somewhat stretchier Merino wool ones, this is just plain uncomfortable. I need to wear a synthetic jersey under it so it won't be so uncomfortable.

This jersey is good for casual riding around town, definitely not a performance top. The sizing is on the small side. I ordered two sizes up for a good fit.

Feels like quality wool and fits well

Great quality, the blue version has the authentic logo stitching from jerseys long ago (so I am told!). These jerseys are sized in the spirit of a traditional Italian racing jersey (more narrow than US sizes); even one size larger will provide a "racing cut" for those accustomed to US sizing.

I wanted a wool jersey and they seem to be hard to find these days. The jerseys are well made and wool keeps me warm even when wet. Good jersey if you like wool.
