These were some of the first locking beaners i bought and they've held up well. After a year they tend to be sticky as you slide but I haven't oiled them, though they've never been wet. They're handy one-handed and it's nice to know you're always locked when the gate is closed. Have my son use it for his atc.

I have used tricams for years and love their versatility and reliability. No moving parts, they don't snag on your harness when you move, they are excellent for setting up belays and work wonderfully in solution pockets where cams wobble.

have used these twice now and they work just like they should. They start really easy and bite well. I had a climbing buddy lead with them and he really liked them as well they bit and started better than his BD. They are simmilar in design, no fancy bells and wissles. I only gave them 4 starts versus a 5 bc of the lack of coffee grinder handle. makes threading them all the way in a little more combersome on WI5+ but none the less a great product. I will probably buy more for the price I got them at.
