Canada Goose Constable Down Parka (For Men)

The Jacket was a return and had kleenex in the left pocket and a quarter in the right pocket. Oh well!

purchased for college daughter at CU Boulder for walking around campus in the snow and skiing.

it's from the people that know cold for sure and it's all quality. it's duck down not goose. some say there is an smell difference however that is NOT the case with the jacket I was sent, smells fine. haven't had much use for it yet at I am currently in Florida. But I do have a place in South Dakota also and this will fill the bill for their worst winter. nice feature is the side zippers. Looks good enough to wear on the street. enough room to layer under "if" needed. no fur on the hood for animal lovers, even tough if it had fur I think it would be removable so peta wouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't go jogging with this jacket in say 10 deg.f+ as it would be probably to warm for high activity. but then at 10f i do little jogging... no make that none. working outdoors would be fine. lifetime jacket well worth the $.

Absolutely fantastic jacket as you would expect from Canada Goose, however, does come up way smaller than other Goose jackets (ie Halifax, Expedition etc)........which is a shame. So I would sugest if you are normally a Large, get an X Large. Other than that....superb and stunning value.

Great jacket for cold weather. Comfortable and durable.

Construction is top notch and exceeds that of other manufacturers. The side zips are good for venting; for allowing easy access to your pockets; and for comfort while sitting outside or in a car. The earth color is different. It varies from a brown to a greenish brown depending upon the light. This parka could last a lifetime.

This parka is well constructed and should get you through many winters. I tried it on for size at my local retailer before ordering from Sierra. It's full price at my local retailer and I just could not pass on Sierra's price. The Earth color appears brown in the store but a greenish brown in natural light. It actually looks nice and is a change from the morbid black that everyone seems to wear. I like the zips along the side seams. You can zip them up or down to make sitting more comfortable or to get at something in your pants without the jacket riding up. It has a nice roomy fit if you want to add layers.
