    I bought these based on the size chart. An XL for my 5'7" 150 lb body was HUGE! I like the style and look of these shorts, however it's pretty hard to figure out what size to order when the chart says XL and the short's "compression insert" is baggy. Back they go. Not sure if I'll try another size.

    Being a recreational cyclist who's not in the best of shape, I just wanted the padding of cycling shorts without the "out-there" display of standard bike shorts. These are NOT the answer! They're INCREDIBLY baggy - WAY too much so. And they're MUCH longer than the stated 5.5 inches. I haven't returned them because 1)I hate returning things; and 2)I think I may have just enough skill to alter them to the point where they're wearable (although I'm only a casual tailor, not a sewing fiend). I won't give up on them yet but if you're not into sewing, DO NOT BUY THEM. Without alteration, they're utterly ridiculous & unwearable.
